      Some people have copied material from this site and combined my material with touch math. This is a violation of the copyright law and the rules of this site. This material is free to compare to  touch math but this material is NOT to supplement touch math. You must decide between the systems. If you decide to use touch math  and not DotMath patterns - then you MAY NOT use any of the material from this site or the DotMath system.   If you have copies from the evaluation period, You must destroy them and may NOT combine them with touch math.   If you have used touch math in the past but no longer use it  then you may  use  DotMath but you must first send me an email to confirm that you no longer use touch math and  that you will not add any of this material to touch math

  Ten commandments   for Owen’s "DotMath for kids"

1.  Thou shalt not add to or take away from a universal  number  symbol.

2. Thou shalt not add to or take away from the DotMath system.

3. Thou shalt not charge  a fee for  DotMath graphics.

4. Thou shalt not lease, rent, or sell  DotMath material. 

5. Thou shalt not make derivative works from DotMath.

6. Thou shalt not skip  steps in teaching DotMath.

7. Thou shalt not gamble on the dice,  only count and add on the dice.

8. Thou shalt  give students  units  to work with.   (Eg: assume dots).

9. Thou shalt teach " DotMath for kids"  with kindness.

10. Thou shalt not abuse or spoil a student, but shall motivate,  educate and inspire the student with DotMath and The Fun Book.
